Getting To Know God

What does it truly mean to know God, not just know about Him? There is a profound difference between having information about someone and actually being in relationship with them. Growing in the knowledge of God is not a one-time event but a lifelong pursuit, much like a marriage that deepens with time. We are challenged to ask ourselves whether we are actively pursuing that relationship or simply going through the motions of religious habit.
