Our Words Matter

When the Pharisees brought the woman caught in adultery to Jesus, using the law of Moses, they pointed out that she should be stoned and asked Jesus what should be done. Hoping he would fall into the trap, they waited. Rather than speaking right away, he stooped down and wrote in the dirt. When he stood, he told them that those who were without sin should cast the first stone, and he again wrote on the ground. We must understand that both life and death can come from the words we speak!
