Flame Resistant

What does it mean to be truly unshakeable when life turns up the heat? Being flame resistant does not mean the fire never comes. It means the fire does not get to decide the outcome. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were not spared from the furnace but were instead met inside it by a divine presence, a fourth figure walking with them in the midst of the flames. We often pray to be kept from difficulty, but perhaps the greater prayer is for the strength and the companionship of God to walk through it.
